Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of thielos.com, the Thielos client portal and related services provided by Thielos Labs Inc. (“Thielos”, “we”, “us”). By using them, you agree to these terms.
Consultations are also governed by separate written agreements: client agreements for clients, and the engagement agreement experts accept during onboarding. If those agreements conflict with these terms, the written agreement controls.
Accounts and access
- Access to the client portal is granted by Thielos to people at client organizations. You may sign in with Google, Microsoft or an emailed one-time code.
- Keep your sign-in methods secure and tell us promptly at hello@thielos.com if you believe your account has been used without permission.
- We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached, if your organization’s relationship with Thielos ends, or to protect the service or other users.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Request or share confidential, proprietary or material non-public information through Thielos or in a consultation.
- Attribute an expert’s comments to them by name, publish a consultation or transcript, or share them outside your organization except as your agreement with Thielos allows.
- Contact experts introduced by Thielos outside the service to avoid Thielos.
- Access the service by automated means, probe or bypass its security, or interfere with its operation.
- Use the service in violation of any law or regulation.
Content and transcripts
You keep the rights to the materials you provide. You grant Thielos the rights needed to use them to provide the service. Transcripts and other deliverables are provided for the confidential use of the requesting client, under the client’s agreement with Thielos.
Experts share their own knowledge and opinions. Thielos does not verify every statement made in a consultation, and consultations are not investment, legal or other professional advice.
Our service
Thielos and its licensors own the service, including our software, systems, datasets and website content. These terms do not give you any rights to them beyond using the service as permitted here.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy at thielos.com/privacy explains how we handle personal information, including the information we receive when you sign in with Google or Microsoft.
Disclaimers
Except as stated in a written agreement with Thielos, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Thielos will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the service. Except as stated in a written agreement with Thielos, Thielos’s total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid Thielos for the service in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will give notice through our sites or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
